Aigas nestles spectacularly between Aigas forest and the peaceful river Beauly – one of Scotland's famous Salmon rivers.
We have five cottages(3 star STB) that offer very comfortable accommodation in beautiful surroundings. They are all traditionally built, double glazed and well equipped to suit the needs of visitors looking for a relaxing break, romantic getaway or an activity packed holiday.
One cosy hillside cottage is in a secluded setting with a south facing aspect enjoying a fine view overlooking our farm. The other four cottages are located in a refurbished Victorian courtyard with picturesque views to the South and East.
Our own challenging 9 hole parkland golf course is well manicured at all times and is popular with golfers of all levels – the first tee is a few minutes' walk from the courtyard cottages. Visitors are most welcome to play here and get on at almost any time. Cottage clients can take advantage of a 50% reduction on normal green fees during their stay. Another 25 golf courses within a 40 mile radius makes Aigas a great base for golfers. Why not treat yourself to a round at Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart or Nairn while you are here.
Other popular activities for visitors in this area which is teeming with wildlife are bird watching, fishing, hill walking, mountain biking, pony trekking and canoeing. Not to mention Dolphin spotting in the Moray firth, visiting castles and whisky distilleries.
Our good central Highland location offers easy access to the North East and West coasts. The small town of Beauly is within 5 miles and offers great shopping. The Highland capital city of Inverness, famous Loch Ness and Glen Affric are all within 15-20miles. For a fly drive holiday Inverness airport is 25 miles away.
