It is situated by the Caledonian Canal which runs through the heart of the village and is within comfortable walking distance of local pubs, shops and restaurants. |
| Kintore was originally built in 1830 as a Lock Keepers Cottage but has since been extended and tastefully renovated. There is a wonderful aura around the canal locks and Loch Ness, making the cottage the ideal place to relax in whilst soaking up the calming and tranquil atmosphere. Kintore Self Catering Cottage is also ideally situated to enjoy the areas wealth of outdoor attractions and pursuits which include walking, fishing, cycling, climbing and skiing. |

You can reach the newly built shower room and characteristic kitchen diner via the charming living room. The large French Windows in the kitchen diner open out into a beautifully landscaped enclosed garden, with a BBQ and outside table and chairs for your enjoy during the milder summer months. |
| The sitting room includes a TV, CD player and a DVD player for your enjoyment and relaxation, whilst the warming wood burning central heating stove adds rustic charm and keeps you warm in the colder winter months. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all mod cons and facilities for you to create your favourite meals, with a tumble dryer being located in the outhouse for extra convenience. |
